Helen’s yoga journey began in 2019 as a weekly girls night outing. What started as a social activity soon turned into a journey of self discovery, inner healing and a deep desire to peel back the layers and know oneself fully. After years of daily practice, Helen received her 200-RYT Certification through YogaLab, Birmingham under Pilar Taylor, Shannon Brasovan and Haley Duggan. She has also completed a 30hr Katonah mentorship under the guidance of Kat Yates.
Helen approaches her classes through the lens of The Five Element Theory of Chinese Medicine, looking to nature’s seasonal cycle for wisdom and inspiration. With the belief that we are an intricate part of Great Nature, Helen’s classes are designed to help us find harmony, balance and stability in each season through embodied movement, pranayama and mindfulness.
In conjunction with the use of Katonah Theory, the imagination, metaphors and visualization, you can expect to leave class feeling connected and attuned to your external and internal environments.
