Slow Flow
Ashley’s path into yoga began with a beginner’s series in 2016, where she discovered a grounded and quietly transformative way of being in her body. That experience deepened into study: a 200-hour training with Sacred Glow Yoga in 2017, a 500-hour certification with Circle Yoga Shala in 2021, and training as a Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide in 2019.
An E-RYT 500, she has taught throughout the Birmingham community for the last eight years and now brings mindfulness and somatic practices into clinical and recovery-based settings. Her teaching invites slow, intentional movement and motor-control-based transitions that encourage students to move mindfully with presence and choice.
Expect grounded, accessible slow flow supported by generous use of props and a class atmosphere that feels welcoming, steady, and open to moments of laughter.
